A quick and easy dessert which can be used as a pre- or post workout snack as it contains 25g of protein! The flavour is not compromised by the protein content. To the contrary, it's the best mug cake I've ever tasted.


Ingredients (makes 1 large or 2 small cakes):

1/4 cup self-raising flour
2 tbsp non-caloric sweetener
15g protein powder (I used iced latte flavour)
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 heaping tbsp carob
1 tbsp peanut butter
1/4 cup + 3 tbsp soy milk
Rum essence
